Simply call the special rerouting number and enter your FleXtel number and PIN number (using either the phone keypad or a tone dialler) followed by the new destination for your calls. Normally, your calls will start to arrive at the destination you choose about 30 seconds after requesting the change of routing.

Cost of Calling  FleXtel numbers

Calls to FleXtel numbers are charged by the caller's phone company (e.g. BT, Cable and Wireless, etc.) at a specific rate per minute. This value depends on the phone service used to call  FleXtel numbers. For demonstration purposes, we have used BT rates as an example in the table below.

Notes:
Outbound calls are made, as normal, via your existing phone company (e.g. BT, Cable and Wireless etc.) and costs are specific to your phone company's calling rates.  FleXtel is not involved in any outbound calls, with the exception of FNP use.
FNP is a free feature of the  FleXtel service. Dialling the destination number is also free, as the cost is already covered by your call to the FNP service (the same as calling any normal  FleXtel number).

Two different services to meet your different needs:

A  FleXtel Personal Number lets you receive calls on your mobile phone at no cost to you, because your callers are charged by their service providers at about mobile rate. It is ideal for people on the road or for taking out-of-hours calls, where contacting you on a mobile is vital.

A  FleXtel Business Number lets you receive calls on your landline8 at no cost to you and your caller pays a lower rate that for Personal numbers. These numbers are usually used as the main contact number for business, administration centres and any application where there is a need for a permanent number without a requirement to extend calls to a mobile.

* You should be able to receive international inbound calls to your 0701 number, but this depends on which network your callers use. If they use some of the low cost foreign telephone companies, then these companies may not be able to afford to connect more expensive codes such as 070 Personal or 079 mobile numbers. Please ask your foreign telco for details.

Most foreign telephone companies have the 0870 codes open from abroad and this is the best choice for foreign advertising.
